In August, 2005 Shooter (Shadesi's Prairie Fire) makes Shadesi history by becoming our first
Shadesi pup to earn a Working Certificate. Congratulations to both Brad and Shooter for this
great accomplishment.
Congrats once again to my Desi for earning her Working Certificate title on September 24, 2005.
Congratulations to Don and Jester on achieving Jester's WC title in May, 2006 in the WC
Trials held in Ontario. Jester makes Shadesi history by becoming the first Shadesi female to achieve her WC.
Congrats to both Don and Jester!!!
Congratulations to Brad and Shooter in obtaining Shooter's CD title at the NACA show in Edmonton.
Shooter is the first male to achieve both working and obedience titles. Way to go!!!
Once again the Grande Prairie show for us the weekend of June 23 - 26, 2006 was a successful one. Diesel took Breed twice
and also came away with a Group 3 placing!! Way to go!!! Bailie also got another leg towards her CDX.
The July, 2006 long weekend was a good weekend for Shadesi Labradors.
The Hunt Tests were held at Wabamum, west of Edmonton and despite the blazing heat, Brad and Shooter
managed to get their Junior Hunt title being the first ever Junior Hunt title for Shadesi Labradors. Bailie
tried to follow in her half-brother's footsteps however she only managed to pass one day.
The long weekend in August, 2006 proved to be another successful one with Bailie obtaining her WC!!
Congrats to all the other people who also earned their WCs and WCIs that weekend!
The first weekend in December, 2006 turned out to be a great one.
Shooter earned his Championship by taken Best of Opposite, Winners Male all weekend. This makes Shooter
the first dog in Shadesi History to earn his Championship, Companion Dog Obedience Title, Working Dog Certificate
and Junior Hunt Title in one year!! Way to go, Congrats to Brad and Shooter!!
The AKC weekend in March, 2007 proves to be a great one by Diesel
earning his Championship by beating specials to take Best of Breed, Best of Winners!!
The Red Deer show held the Easter weekend ended up being a great show for
Tia who won winners female and is currently sitting on 9 points!!
Tia has finally finished and in great style!! Tia went to Fort St. John at the end of May, 2007
and won Best of Breed, Best of Winners.
First Working Certificate weekend in June, 2007 and Shooter and Brad have obtained Shooter's
WCI. Way to Go!!!
August 18, 2007 Shooter does it again ... the last trial of the season and
Shooter obtains his WCX!! Bravo Shooter!!
November 10 - 11, 2007 was a great weekend in Grande Prairie. Both Onyx and Solar did awesome,
my friend, Tamara Champagne showed Onyx that weekend and won numerous Best of Breeds and a Puppy Group. Following in her mother's
pawprints ... not bad for her first weekend out!!
Only able to beat her sister one time that weekend, Solar also had a great weekend, winning
Best of Breed.
2008 has proven to be a year of ups and downs. However I finally achieved the ribbon that
has eluded me for years, on May 31, 2008 under Judge Bill Rodgers, Bailie obtained her CDX title
with a High in Trial and Highest Scoring Lab!!
